James Fracas

James, a native of Waterloo, first started playing football for the SJAM Highlanders and went on to play with the Predators winning an OFC Championship in 2011.

James was recruited by Laurier and during his tenure as quarterback for the Golden Hawks he won several awards such as: OUA Player of the Week, Offensive Player of the Year (Laurier Team Award) and was selected to play in the East-West game which showcases the best U Sports players in Canada.

However without success in the classroom, none of these achievements would have been possible. Over James 5 year career at Laurier he achieved Academic All-Canadian status from 2012-2015 and also was awarded the James Fusco award which represents the athlete who best exemplifies both academic as well as athletic achievement.

James was also selected to participate in the CFL Hamilton Tiger Cats training camp for Canadian quarterbacks. This incredible opportunity was covered by the Kitchener Record here:

James is returning to his Predator roots in 2017, taking on the position as Offensive Coordinator for the 2017 Varsity Predators Team.
