Predators 2017 Head Coach Announcement

The Board of Directors are pleased to announce:
Brandon Eaket
2017 Senior Varsity Head Coach

Coach Eaket joins us with a wealth of knowledge and experience having been part of the Predators Organization for 6 years,  holding positions  as Assistant Head Coach/ Recruiter/Offensive Coordinator and receivers coach with both the Jr and Sr Varsity programs.

Coach Eaket  is a proud Predator alumni,  having played Preds for 4 years, winning OFC Varisty Championships  both as a player and a coach.  His passion and dedication to growing youth football in our region, prompted him to join other Predators coaches at Eastwood High School, where he helped coach their Varsity team.

A Waterloo University graduate, Coach Eaket played slot back with the Warriors for 4 years and has continued being involved with their program as a volunteer coach.  With his strong ties to the Warrior program, Eaket has developed friendships and connections with a large network of Warrior players and coaches many of whom will be part of his Predators coaching staff for 2017.

Outside of football, Coach Eaket has shown strong commitment to community involvement for which he has won several awards and acknowledgements, including Kitchener Youth Action Council Award , Community Caregiver Award and Kitchener Record’s Top 40 Under 40 Award.  He has also served as a volunteer Head Coach of the special needs hockey program the  Kitchener Ice Pirates for 5 years.  Eaket’s desire to give back to the community was a driving force in his decision to become a police officer.

Coach Eaket brings fresh enthusiasm to the Predator program and we embrace his energy, drive and vision to developing  the Varsity team and preparing for a successful 2017 season.

For those Predators players involved with high school football games, you may have already seen Coach Eaket on the sidelines.  He is eager to attend as many high school games as possible , to watch our Preds boys in action and introduce himself to players.  Make sure to say hi!

We will be hosting a "Meet the Coach " event in the coming weeks where all players, members and parents are encouraged to attend. Stay tuned for more details.
