Flag Football Starts Sep 11

Welcome to our Fall Flag Football Season!  We are excited to kick off this Saturday September 11 @ Bridgeport SportsField.    

PLAYER EQUIPMENT
Every player should wear cleats (soccer cleats OK) and mouth guards are optional.

Don't forget to bring a water bottle with the players name on it. Due to Covid, there will be no sharing of water bottles permitted.
 

Week 1 : Team Practice
The first session will be a team practice only for 90 minutes and the games will start in week 2.

Atom/Peewee @ 10am
Bantam/JV @ 11:30am
 

Team Scores and Standings on Sportsengine
New this year, all scores and standings will be updated on SportsEngine as well as our website.  Please download the Sportsengine App and you will be able to find your team

Reminder: Mandatory Football Ontario Insurance
All players MUST register on the Football Ontario National Registry.
This will ensure that all participants are covered with the Ontario Football insurance program.
All players must register and pay the $25 fee prior to the season starting.

Players will not be permitted to participate in our flag football program unless they are registered with the National Registry.
We will receive a list of insured players from Football Ontario to ensure that we have 100% compliance.
*** When registering with the National Registry please select "Twin Cities Minor Tackle Football Association" as the association name

WEATHER:
Games and practices will be held in all weather, rain or shine except  lightning.
If practice/games have to be cancelled due to fields being closed we will try to email everyone as soon as possible.

COVID

We will be following the Return to Play guidelines issued by Football Ontario. 

No person should come to practice or games if they have any symptoms of COVID-19, or if they have been exposed to anyone who has symptoms.

All players, coaches, trainers, and referees will self-screen before attending each Saturday session using the Province of Ontario COVID screener found on the internet at:

COVID PROTOCOLS

Spectators MUST maintain physical distance at all times
When social distancing isn’t possible Spectators will be encouraged to wear a facemask.
Players and all personnel must wear masks when entering and exiting the field (not required on sidelines)
When participants are not on the field or sidelines participants MUST maintain physical distancing
Personal water bottles only.
All participants must use hand sanitizer before and after a training session.

COVID CONTACT TRACING

Contact tracing will be completed using the Sportsengine application by confirming your attendance or absence using the RSVP feature in your team calendar.
