2020 Spring Bantam Head Coach

COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT
We are happy to announce Scott Brush as our 2020 Spring Preds Bantam Head Coach.

With four children of his own, Coach Brush has been involved in coaching youth sports for over 15 years (softball, hockey, ball hockey, & basketball). And for the past eight years, he has found himself immersed in football, helping coach in our Predators program at various levels (Atoms, Peewees, and Bantam) and with the St. Mary’s High School senior team. With experience as both a positional coach and coordinator, Brush has also served as Head Coach of the 2013 & 2014 fall AA Bantam Teams, and most recently was the Special Teams Coordinator & QB coach for the 2019 spring Peewee Predators team.

Always trying to become a better football coach, Coach Brush has completed NCCP training in six different positions (QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, LB) and earlier this month finished all the requirements to become a Certified Defensive Line Coach. Taking the Coordinator Position course will be the next step in his NCCP training pathway. As a player, Brush went to five consecutive High School championships in Windsor/Essex County, winning one Junior with General Amherst High School (‘83) and back to back Senior with Vincent Massey Collegiate (‘86 & ‘87).

Looking to the 2020 season, Brush wants to see the Bantam program become a key building block for the success of our varsity Predators teams and local high school programs. With a focus on mastering the fundamentals of the game, he intends to use the power of teamwork and competition to help motivate each player to become a champion, both on and off the field.
With Coach Scott's impressive experience, qualifications and passion for the game, we look forward to a successful 2020 season!!
